1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ceevee.li ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ceevee.li provides an AI-powered CV customization service that helps users tailor their CVs and generate cover letters for specific job applications. The Service includes CV parsing, AI-generated content customization, and PDF export functionality.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Password-Protected Encryption

Your CV data is protected using password-protected encryption. This means your data is encrypted with a key derived from your password before it is stored on our servers.

Important: Password Cannot Be Reset

Because we cannot access your encryption key, we cannot reset your password. If you forget your password, your data cannot be recovered and you will need to create a new account. You acknowledge and accept this limitation.

5. Payment and Credits

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are purchased in advance and used for CV generations. Credits are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices are displayed in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include applicable taxes.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. You represent that you have the right to share any content you upload.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

8. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI is provided as suggestions to assist your job application process. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use.

No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that using the Service or AI-generated content will result in job interviews, offers, or any particular outcome. Hiring decisions depend on many factors beyond your CV.

Input Quality: The quality of AI-generated output depends on the quality of your input. A detailed, accurate base CV, complete job descriptions, and thoughtful motivation text produce better results than sparse or vague information. You are responsible for providing accurate source material.

PDF Export: Our PDF export is optimized for readability and applicant tracking system (ATS) compatibility. However, ATS software varies widely, and we cannot guarantee compatibility with all systems.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by ceevee.li and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We make no guarantees regarding the effectiveness of AI-generated content for job applications.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ceevee.li shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and any unused credits are forfeited.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
