2. Password-Protected Encryption

We implement password-protected encryption for your CV data:

  • Your CV data is encrypted using a key derived from your password
  • We only store encrypted data — without your password, we cannot read your CV content
  • Only you can decrypt your data with your password
  • If you forget your password, we cannot recover your data

This architecture ensures that even in the event of a data breach, your stored CV information remains protected and unreadable without your password.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us:

  • Account information (name, email address)
  • CV data you upload or enter (work experience, education, skills)
  • Job descriptions and company information you provide for customization
  • Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider)

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Generate AI-customized CVs and cover letters
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send technical notices and support messages
  • Respond to your comments and questions

5. AI Processing & Sub-Processors

When you use AI features (CV parsing, profile generation, cover letter creation), your decrypted CV data is temporarily processed by our AI sub-processor:

Anthropic, PBC

Anthropic provides the Claude AI model used for intelligent CV processing. When you trigger AI features, your CV data is sent to Anthropic's servers for processing.

Important: AI processing requires your explicit consent. You will be asked to consent before any data is sent to Anthropic. Your data is not used to train AI models.

6. International Data Transfers

When using AI features, your data is transferred to Anthropic's servers in the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

Your encrypted profile data may be stored on servers located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Due to our password-protected encryption, this data remains unreadable without your password.

7. Data Retention

We retain your CV data and generated content for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmission is encrypted using TLS.

9. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate personal data
  • Request erasure of your personal data
  • Object to processing of your personal data
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time

10. Cookies
