Why can't I reset my password?
ceevee.li uses password-protected encryption to protect your data. Your CV is encrypted with a key derived from your password before it is stored on our servers. This means we cannot read your data — and we also cannot recover it without your password.
This is by design
Password-protected encryption is a privacy feature, not a limitation. Your stored data remains private — without your password, we cannot access it.
What are my options?
1. Create a new account
If you've lost your password, the easiest option is to create a new account with a different email address. Your old data cannot be recovered, but you can start fresh.

If you want to delete your old account (for example, to reuse the email address), you can request deletion by contacting us. We'll verify your identity via email and delete all associated data within 30 days.
Important: We cannot recover or share your encrypted data. Deletion is permanent and removes only the encrypted blobs and account metadata.

To request deletion of your account, please email us from the email address associated with your account:

Subject: Account Deletion Request
Please include your registered email address in the request. We'll send a confirmation email to verify your identity before processing the deletion.
Your rights under GDPR
Under GDPR, you have the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"). We will process deletion requests within 30 days. If you have an active account, you can also delete your data directly from the Settings page.
